LOTUS Policy Dialogue Workshop on Leading Digitalisation

We are happy to invite you to the LOTUS Policy Dialogue Workshop on Leading Digitalisation in Higher Education from May 16 – May 17 (lunch to lunch). The event will be hosted in person at WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business) in cooperation with the European University Association.

Addressing university representatives, European policy makers, representatives of national ministries and other stakeholder in higher education, the event will focus on how strategy building and policymaking can help us shape digitalisation in higher education learning and teaching within the next decade.

The event will feature a combination of presentations, workshops and panel discussions and focus on the following thematic streams:

  • new learner requirements: individualised/flexible study paths and micro credentials
  • new technologies: immersive learning, augmented reality and learning analytics
  • new assessment forms: online – hybrid – onsite

Invited speakers and panelists include, among others, Dr Ian Dunn (Provost, Coventry University), Dr Lynn Ramsey (Director MicroCreds, Irish University Association), Tia Loukkola (Head of Innovation & Measuring Progress Division, OECD), and Elmar Pichl (Head of Higher Education Section, Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research) as well as Rolf Kruse (University of Applied Science Erfurt) and Dr Stephen Rutherford (School of Biosciences, Cardiff University).
